November 1, 2019 (IANSlife) The happiest of photos on social media this Diwali was Virat and Anushka’s fun-loving cuddle. The star wished her fans for the festival, stating “Happy Diwali from us to you and your family. I hope we all find the light in us and may truth always triumph.”
 

What went unnoticed as just a happy greeting, was also a cryptic hint of Anushka finally breaking her silence. Shortly after, the young star wrote a strongly worded post against haters to find the “light” in themselves and to finally bring to the fore the truth about the nasty rumours she’s been the brunt of over many years.

Anushka wrote that her name was misused in “fabricated stories” regarding her husband’s career and her presence at sporting events. She states, “I have stayed quiet through all the times I was blamed for the performance of my then boyfriend, now husband Virat and continue to take the blame for the most baseless things involving Indian cricket… My name has been used in fabricated stories claiming that I am part of close-door team meetings and influenced selection processes… my name has wrongly been used to say how I have been given preferential treatment or how I have overstayed my authorized time with my husband on foreign tours…”

The actor states she has, “decided to speak up because someone’s silence cannot be taken as their weakness…” Sharma who is a successful actor, entrepreneur and producer ends the note silences her critics with the undisputed truth that, “she is a self-made independent woman.”  Friends of hers from the fraternity posted posted in support; actor Parineeti wrote, "Love you, Anushka. And coffee > tea," while Ranveer Singh commented “Hahahaha! Hard hard ... Diyela hai." All we can add is you go girl!
