April 19, 2020 (IANSlife) How about a Sunday sundowner with rum? Too old-fashioned for your taste? We got the experts at Diageo, India to put a modern twist on this to the good old favourite. 

 

Captain’s Hurricane

Ingredients
• 45ml Captain Morgan original rum
• 80ml fresh orange/pineapple juice
• 10 ml lime juice
• 30ml Black Tea (1 bag to 250 ml water)
• 2 spoons fine sugar

Glassware: Tall Glass or Hurricane Glass
Method: Build all the ingredients into a Hurricane/Tall glass and mix well
Garnish: Orange or Pineapple Slice

 

 

Coffee Colada

Ingredients
• 45ml Captain Morgan original rum
• 45 ml pineapple juice or 1 banana
• 1 scoop ice-cream or milk
• 25 ml coffee (1 spoon to 50 ml water)

Glassware: Tall Glass
Method: Build all the ingredients into a grinder/mixer and blend well.
Garnish: Pineapple slice or Chocolate curls

 

Captain & Cola

Ingredients
• 45ml Captain Morgan original rum
• 10 ml lime juice
• Top up with Cola

Glassware: Highball glass
Method: Build up the ingredients into a highball glass and garnish with a mint sprig or lime slice.
