October 3, 2019 (IANSlife) Planning a party at home and looking for some interesting cocktail ideas. Here are two unique recipes from William Grant & Sons, the global premium spirits company that owns brands such as Glenfiddich, Hendrick's Gin and Grant's Blended Scotch.

The Gem: Grant’s Espresso Martini

INGREDIENTS

Grant's Whisky                                                50 ml
Shot of Espresso                                             1
Kahlua                                                             25 ml

METHOD

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all three ingredients
Shake for 15-20 seconds
Strain & garnish with coffee beans

Hot Spiced Apple

INGREDIENTS

Hendrick's Gin                                                150 ml
Apple Juice spiced with 2 cloves, 2 crushed cardamoms, 2 star anises, juniper berries, peel of 1 orange                                             750 ml
Grated nutmeg                                               Few
Orange (for garnishing)

METHOD

Simmer the apple juice with spices in a pan
Add Hendrick's Gin
Serve in a tankard or teacup and garnish with three slices of apple and a dusting of nutmeg
