January 20, 2023 (IANSlife) The cuisine campaign "The French Evolution" is a part of the ongoing strategic partnership between Mandarin Oriental Hotels and The Oberoi Groups ( O&MO Alliance). The sophisticated all-day dining restaurant at The Oberoi, Gurgaon is hosting Chef Gerald Genson, Executive Chef - Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

Throughout the promotion, Chef Genson will offer a special menu that includes genuine regional French delicacies and has been carefully prepared with his distinctive panache.

Some of the signature dishes are as follows:       

• French Onion Soup
• Beluga caviar, winter potato and Champagne cream sauce
• Duck leg confit with mesclun, potato salardaise and balsamic reduction
• Lamb loin in crispy crust with Provencal vegetables and thyme jus
• La Tarte au Chocolat - chocolate tart cooked a la minute with praline and Malaga ice cream

Abhishek Panshikhar, General Manager of The Oberoi, Gurgaon, said, “This special a la carte menu weaves flavours from distinct regions of France into one culinary tale. We are excited to showcase Chef Genson’s menu to our esteemed guests. It draws inspiration from tradition yet is driven by the evolution of new techniques and cultural influences.”

The discount runs for lunch and supper from January 18th through January 21st, 2023.
