Recipes with Kiwi

August 08, 2023 (IANSlife) Due to the absence of sunlight, the monsoon, which is a wonderful season that everyone looks forward to, also brings sadness into our life. Not to mention how the higher humidity creates ideal conditions for the growth of bacteria and insects. To  give your energy and immune system a boost by eating a Chilean Kiwifruit. The fruit can be found in all significant stores and internet merchants. Chef Neha Deepak Shah curated a bunch of recipes to make your Kiwi eating a bit tastier.

STUFFED KIWI ROLLS

Ingredients:

3 Green Kiwi Fruits, peeled and sliced thinly into roundels using a slicer

For the filling:

  • 1/4 cup Desiccated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Cranberry
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Soft Dates
  • 2 tbsp Nuts

For Garnish

Nuts, Rose Petals, Silver Varq

Instructions:

  • Simply mix all the ingredients for filling and make logs.
  • Fill it into a sliced kiwi, cover with another slice & garnish.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!!

 

KIWI BRUSCHETTA

Ingredients:

For Kiwi Salsa-

  • 2 Kiwis, Chopped
  • 1/2 Small Onion, chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Chopped Bell Peppers
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Cucumber
  • Salt
  • Black Salt
  • A little sugar or honey
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander

Others-

  • Few Slices of Bread, toasted
  • Basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

  • Mix together all the salsa ingredients and set aside for 10-15 mins.
  • Now, top them onto the bread slices, garnish, serve immediately and enjoy!
  • Make the topping & keep it aside for 10 mins & then use it
  •  Top this kiwi mixture on the toasted bread right before serving

 

KIWI ROSE

Ingredients:

A firm Chilean Kiwi

Instructions:

  • Take a firm Chilean Kiwi, peel and cut into half, lengthwise.
  • Now, slice both halves as thinly as possible.
  • Spread them out and turn them around to form a rose.
  • Use as a garnish and enjoy!
