October 20, 2019 (IANSlife) In the run up to the NBA India Games 2019, the National Basketball Association of North America (NBA) has collaborated with photographer Rohan Shrestha for a coffee table book that discovers basketball communities from across India.
Titled ‘Home Court - Inside India’s Unique Basketball Communities’, the book artistically captures tales of the growth of the sport in cities like New Delhi, Dharamshala, Mumbai, Gangyap (Sikkim) and Periyakulam (Tamil Nadu).

Shrestha's images are woven together imaginatively in words by Manan Dhuldhoya to narrate tales of basketball enthusiasts, players, coaches, teams and individuals, each of whom have related to the game in different ways beyond the court.

Home Court is a history of communities who’ve come together over the game and used it to lend themselves a new hand to win with. It is a tribute to people who believe in community lives, regardless of their on-court achievements. It is a tribute to people who’ve beaten the buzzer so often that it seems they’re living in clutch mode.
We give you a peak into some of the pictures.
