June 03, 2022 (IANSlife) Glenfiddich, the world's most awarded single malt whisky, experiments with tea to create one-of-a-kind sensorial experiences for whisky enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The newest initiative, launched on May 27th at JW Mariott, Aerocity, Delhi, redefines the rules of traditional cocktail making. Leading influencers, celebrities, chefs, designers, and media attended the special evening, where they savoured the unconventional cocktails, each showcased with a unique service ritual.

India is a tea-drinking country and the world's second largest tea producer. The sensorial serves will create distinguished experiences for single malt lovers, driving an emotional connection with India's most loved beverage 'Tea' the water of life, whisky.

It is an experience outside of mainstream mixology, inspired by the Japanese tradition of mixing tea and whisky. The four single malt drinks – Dufftown Mist, Smoky Tryst, Paradisiacal Highball, and Threefold Fashioned – are made with the fruity notes of Glenfiddich's 'Our Original Twelve,' which has tangerine sweetness and intense aromas.
