December 19, 2021 (IANSlife) There's nothing like a whisky to keep you warm on a cold night. To spice things up take your nightcap with a twit this season. The Glenfiddich 15 Year Old, proudly called ‘Our Solera Fifteen’ is a single malt innovation first pioneered in 1998. The Solera system marries whiskies matured in sherry, bourbon and new oak casks. Always kept at least half full, the Solera Vat creates a harmonious whisky with deep layers of warm spice, honey and fruit that gets richer and more complex every year.
Recipe of Honey Cinnamon Syrup: Boil equal parts of honey and water and 2-3 cinnamon sticks in it on low sim and allow the flavour of cinnamon to get infused in the liquid.
Pour the whisky over ice in mixing glass and add the honey cinnamon syrup and 3 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Stir well and strain in a rock glass over ice.
Garnish with orange peel/ cinnamon stick.
