Cold coffee, hot chocolate and filter coffee with a delicious twist

April 24, 2020 (IANSlife) A month into the lockdown and we won't be surprised if your bored experimenting with cocktails, amateur bartending and your favourite spirit. 

How about getting back to basics and creating simple home-made favourites. Diageo India recently collaborated with Pooja Dhingra, one of India’s top pastry chefs, to bring you simple recipes which with just enough liquor to hit the spot. 

Baileys Original Irish Cream takes simplicity a notch higher, bringing together different flavours for plain pleasure. 

 


Baileys Hot Chocolate recipe created by Pooja Dhingra 

 

Hot Chocolate

 

Ingredients: 

  • 300g Milk 
  • 150g Dark Chocolate 
  • 60ml Baileys

Procedure:

  • Heat Milk and Baileys over a saucepan on medium heat. 
  • Bring the liquid to simmer and take it off the heat. 
  • Take chopped Dark chocolate in a bowl and pour the liquid over the chocolate. 
  • Let it sit for 2 mins and whisk well.

 

Baileys Cold Coffee by Khushnaz Raghina - Diageo Brand Ambassador West 

 

Cold Coffee

 

  • 60 ml Baileys Original Irish Cream 
  • 120 ml instant coffee
  • (Brew 1 tsp instant coffee in 150 ml of hot water and allow to chill)
  • 30 ml Cold milk 
  • 1 Tsp Sugar

Method: Add all the ingredients into a tall glass, add ice, stir well

Filter Coffee

 

  • 60 ml Baileys Original Irish Cream 
  • 45ml South Indian Filter coffee decoction
  • 30 ml Whole milk hot 
  • Add Sugar to liking 

Method: Together with the filter coffee decoction mix whole milk and Baileys Irish Original Cream

Garnish: Nutmeg powder
