April 29, 2023 (IANSlife) World champion, Lionel Messi, will star in Louis Vuitton's exciting new travel advertisement, "Horizons Never End," for the Marc Newson-designed Horizon luggage line.

As he begins the season, Messi only has his Horizon suitcase with him. The football icon may be seen sitting in an airport terminal with his legs spread out on his Horizon rolling cabin luggage in a sequence of still photos taken by fashion photographer and videographer Glen Luchford. In a different picture, Messi is seated on a famous Louis Vuitton trunk that is positioned among the aeroplanes on the airport tarmac, all set to embark on exotic journeys with his Horizon luggage. Monogram football keeps the atmosphere of the pitch close at hand.

Since 2014, Marc Newson, one of the most significant industrial designers of our time, has worked with Louis Vuitton to transform the concept of travel. His first project with the Maison was the "Celebrating Monogram" line, for which he designed "the ultimate contemporary rucksack" in vivacious hues. Since then, he has created a variety of Louis Vuitton travel essentials, such as the incredibly lightweight Horizon Soft rolling luggage in thermoformed knit, which will be released in 2019, and an attractive modernization of the Pégase bag, which will be released in 2022.

The now-iconic Horizon series by Marc Newson, which was first introduced in 2016, was a major turning point for Louis Vuitton's luggage line thanks to its innovative design, robust construction, and exceptional usefulness. In an homage to the Maison's history as a trunk manufacturer, ultra-lightweight cases made of moulded mesh composite are covered in specially created Damier or Monogram canvas and finished with natural leather. A flexible, flat-bottomed interior maximises packing space, while an outside trolley system with silent, microscopic wheels allows 360° directionality.
