February 25, 2023 (IANSlife) Aligned with the global race towards decarbonisation and better trade practices, the #ConsciousEffort Design Show & Conclave is a forum and design exhibit for conscious luxury across fashion, beauty & lifestyle.
In the post-pandemic world, there has been a surge of interest in sustainable fashion with a solid potential to improve both the environment and social impact.

The show has three core sections, i.e., Conclave, Design & Clean-Tech Challenge, meticulously bringing key stakeholders of the industry under one roof. It is perhaps one of the only independent platforms with an advocacy-cum-retail immersive & experiential approach, where visitors can indulge in conscious fashion and even meet the industry mavericks and pacesetters.

Founded by entrepreneur, author, and sustainability consultant, Saachi Bahl, #ConsciousEffort, is her company Saahra’s advocacy initiative and has grown into a well-known annual conscious luxury forum on a mission to educate, engage and empower people about sustainability in the fashion industry.

The Conclave hosts globally renowned speakers fostering constructive dialogue on climate and the environment. The panel will witness the iconic costume designer and celebrated National Award Winner, Nachiket Barve along with Giulio Bonazzi, Chairman and CEO, of Aquafil; among other influential disruptors and change-makers of the industry. The panelists will throw light upon sustainable, conscious living and open the floor to a discussion on fashion’s tryst with innovative “new materials” and exquisite craftsmanship in the race towards planet-positivity.

In the past, the conclave has hosted ardent sustainability advocates and speakers that include the likes of acclaimed designers Rahul Mishra, and Anita Dongre, and media personality BandanaTewari.

The Design Segment will feature an exhibition of about 25+ stellar conscious fashion brands from across the country such as Abraham & Thakore, Urvashi Kaur, Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta, Tjori, Devasya, Juice Chemistry, Label Rama name a few. The summit will also have, a virtual reality immersive experience, sustainable art installations, and a booth for block printing. The event will host the Clean Tech challenge with prizes for innovators addressing challenges pertaining to climate by sharing patented planet-positive solutions to combat the climate crisis.
