Schwarzkopf Professional presented its first-ever virtual global showcase the ‘Essential Looks Global Masters 2020’ over a two-day event held on the 24th and 25th August

September 5, 2020 (IANSlifeIt's known that the salon industry is one of the worst hit by the pandemic and is struggling to bounce back as people play safe and steer clear. But as we transition into the 'new normal', it is creativity, inspiration and education that will drive the hairdressing industry forward.

Schwarzkopf Professional, global leading brand in haircare, presented its first-ever virtual global showcase the ‘Essential Looks Global Masters 2020’ over a two day event held on the 24th and 25th August.

Beauty experts and industry insiders from across the globe tuned in for the latest in hair fashion trends inspired by social media and across the creative community. The incredible platform provided an opportunity for the hairdressing community to come together, witness and advance their knowledge on essential hair skills to help differentiate their mastery in the industry.

At the virtual event, 'REthinking, REworking, Renewing and always REinventing' hair was the mission. Simon Ellis, ­International Creative Director for Schwarzkopf Professional says, “Our world has changed and one clear positive has been the explosive growth in online hairdressing education, which is a recognition that upskilling is critical to succeeding in the post-COVID 'new normal'. So, now is the time to further build on this excellent Digital Education footprint.  I am very proud to have presented the first-ever online launch on Monday 24thAugust 2020, of our NEW Essential Looks Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection comprising a Free to View Hair show, followed by Pay Per View Educational Masterclasses. We created some wonderfully creative trends and new colour techniques, which I was really excited to share with everyone.”

The Livestream presented a variety of educational and creatively inspiring content: The release show of the AW20 VivID Collection from Essential Looks Followed by Masterclasses from each of the trends: Once Upon A Time, Everyday Decadence and Dark Romance and Look & Learn sessions for Catwalk and Salon looks (cut and colour) and so much more!
