June 26, 2020 (IANSlife) Need a little inspiration for an Unlock makeover? After months of sheltering in place, iconic brunette, Emily Ratajkowski, has decided to lighten up her locks, going blonde and giving us some serious #makeovergoals.

Going blonde is something Emily had been thinking about for a while, but she was concerned about the toll it could take on her hair. The actor was finally ready to take the plunge and this is the first time Emily has ever coloured her hair.

“I’ve never colored my hair or changed the length significantly in my entire life! I’m absolutely thrilled that Kérastase gave me their blessing to become a blonde. I just celebrated my birthday and am so happy to be coming out of quarantine with a fresh new look. Beauty is meant to be fun and expressive and this is definitely, hands down, the most fun I’ve ever had with my look,” says Emily Ratajkowski.

The star could only trust expert hair care giant Kérastase for the job, and was confident her newly lightened hair would be in great hands, having strong a trusting relationship with Kérastase over the past three years. Ratajkowski is the face for the brand’s first colour care range exclusively for blondes, called Blond Absolu. The new campaign will be released in January 2021. 

As salons are now reopening around the globe, changing your hair colour is an easy way to start fresh for the new season.
