Deepika Padukone chose traditional attire for both her Konkani ceremony and her Sindhi ceremony. She chose a traditional silk Kanjivaram saree made with pure zari threads for the Konkani ceremony. The entire six-yard weave contained recurring themes. For her Sindhi nuptials designer Sabyasachi designed a creation with a dupatta on the borders of which were sewn "Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava," which translates to "may you always be wedded," in Devnagri's script.
Katrina Kaif
Yet another Sabyasachi bride, styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, Katrina choose a crimson lehengas that was handwoven and embroidered with zardozi borders. The gold necklace, matha Patti, and personalised kalire were stunning accessories.
